Virtual Vigil with Students for Holocaust Remembrance, Education & Awareness (SHARE) at the University of Michigan

Students for Holocaust Awareness, Remembrance & Education (SHARE) at the University of Michigan has held an annual 24-hour Reading of the Names Vigil for years. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we cancelled our in-person event and have moved to a 24-hour Digital Vigil! From 12:00 PM on April 6 to 12:00 PM on April 7, we will be sharing videos, photos, and written posts every hour on Facebook and Instagram to honor those who perished in the Holocaust and to show that we will never forget.

Please share a 1-2 minute video or write a 1-2 paragraph post (with pictures if you would like) and upload it to this Google Folder.

We will accept submissions until 9:00 AM on April 7. If you would rather post yourself or simply share posts from the event, check out University of Michigan Hillel's Facebook page and Instagram (@michiganhillel) and SHARE's Instagram (@shareumich) or use the hashtag #SHAREVigil2020.

Thank you for being a part of our Digital Vigil!
