Join Not In Our Town for this outstanding workshop discussing dealing with hate in your community! This will be a communications workshop for NIOT communities (new and existing) and any groups standing up to hate in their communities led by Project Over Zero's Rachel Brown and Samantha Owen.

Topics to be covered:
- Responding when a hate group comes to town. Encouraging people who have been targeted to come forward and supporting them when they don’t feel they can.
- Communications Advice: Do's and Don'ts and sample messaging resources.
- Building structures for your stakeholder groups that are on-going, including building relationships within your community and working with law enforcement.
- How to keep people activated/engaged! Ideas for activities that you can do on a regular basis to keep people engaged, nurture relationships and community engagement outside of crisis moments.
