The archives of genocides and mass atrocities are increasingly digital. Almost all contain at least some digital element. In an April 2021 mini-conference, the Genocide Studies Program proposes to examine the past, present and future production of digital archives of mass atrocities from the perspective of those who curate them. Participants will discuss the challenges faced by archivists, innovations in digital archiving and its consequences, ethical issues arising from the structure of the archive, and issues pertaining to the dissemination of its contents
