This Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month, join HIAS for a program about contemporary genocide and the ongoing persecution of the Rohingya and Uyghur peoples. You’ll hear from Nury Turkel, Commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), and Tun Khin, President of the Burmese Rohingya Organisation UK. You will learn about the current situations, how we got to this point, and how we can raise awareness about current genocides and take action.
